One of the things I love about this author's work, is how deeply she plots out her story and characters. Once you get to the end and uncover everything, go back and read the story once more, if yous have time. Over again, because our men are not perfect, but they are 100% not arseholes. I'm not certain when the fantasy for women became existence treated similar dirt by someone, but I'd much rather a Calder who wants to claim me because he believes there is no-one in the world better for him, than some of the other heroes brought to life on newspaper (or your tablet, kindle - y'all become my drift.) Add into that, that he is a growly, bitey kind of boy and you'll find yourself reading scenes and wishing you could swap places with a fictional character.

I have been keen to become my hands on Steel Rush considering the previous volume, Gold Shimmer, left me with so many questions. At present that I've finished Steel Rush, I must applaud P.T. Now that I've finished Steel Rush, I must applaud P.T. Michelle, because I did not see that coming! It was a fabled ending, full of twists, suspense and a plenty sizzling moments between Cass and Calder!
Cass begins this book still masquerading as Celeste, living at the Carver estate. Celeste hadn't returned habitation and at present Cass wants to go to the bottom of the mystery, without getting herself implicated in the disappearance. Calder comes to the estate and insists on staying by her side. Slowly, more details sally about Celeste and her past, and the plot gets thicker!
I enjoyed seeing Cass and Calder work together. She was hesitant at starting time, considering she was unsure of Calder's true feelings, but he soon shows his loyalty and will do anything to protect her. Calder has a violent protective side and wants to stay every bit close as he can to Cass. His feelings are potent for her and he doesn't like that she has to spend so much time around some other human being. Simply they both take to play their parts to uncover the culprits. Calder and Cass are always hot together, and when they managed to get some alone time in this book, information technology was every bit scorching and as intense equally I expected.
It was good to run into invitee appearances from other characters that I have come to love throughout this series too. Bash and Talia help out when needed, Mina was able to bring supplies and Damien was able to schmooze with the elite business course. I dearest all these characters and I am hoping that Mina and her blood brother Damien become their own books as well!
P.T. Michelle did a remarkable chore at weaving the mystery and suspense throughout Steel Rush. She kept me thinking and on the edge of my seat. I had my suspects, but didn't wait the turn of events that occurred. It was a very clever read and I was surprised as to how information technology all wrapped upwards. I am excited to get more than from this globe!!

The twists and turns in this volume are Amazing! I would take never guessed the identity of the Observer, so it'due south mind blowing. I dear that Cass and Calder finally fond there fashion, though their path is so intense. Highly recommend.
With each volume in the serial, I have grown to bask them more. This must exist read from book ane to fully become the virtually out of the feel. It is worth the read.
